Marta Rivera is trained chef with over 20 years of experience in the culinary field. She graduated from the Baltimore International Culinary College with degrees in both Culinary Arts and Classical Pastries. Since then she’s worked in kitchens in Europe as well as the United States.  Marta’s passion is recipe development for her food blog, Sense & Edibility, which is dedicated to teaching home chefs culinary principals and techniques. Drawing upon her years of travel as both an Air Force brat, and now as an Army wife, Marta authored and published her first cookbook: Taste and See Cooks: Recipes to Inspire, Equip and Enjoy, in 2016. In her “vast amount of spare time”, Marta home schools her 12-year-old “Wonder Twins” and volunteers in her local military community. She is a proponent of using sarcasm on a daily basis and the consumption of copious amounts of coffee.
