Hi Elise,
What a great write-up of how food bloggers connected at the conference. It was great to hang out with you and Nicole. (To all of Elise’s faithful readers, she’s just as wonderful in person as she is on the website!)
All the food bloggers I met were so warm and friendly. It was great to see how the love of food can connect people who don’t otherwise have much in their lives in common. I’ll post the whole list of food bloggers who signed my list at the “birds of a feather” meet-up sometime today, and link to here so everyone can see their pictures.
Oh it’s sooo great to see three of my favorite folks real and live in the same photo: making it even easier to feel like I “know” you all! Someday, someday!
Thanks so much for the sweet words. It was great to see you again, and to put faces to so many food bloggers’ names too.

I have been reading your blog for a while now and absolutly love it!! I am in the process of creating recipe video blog myself and am completly inspired by this supportive community!!

Hi Elise,
How much fun! Nice to see your faces to all. I was not there unfortunately but somehow was a little bit there too. Thanks to the Stylefeeder necklace for your name tag that you all wore ;-)
Hi Elise, it was fun to dine with you at Gombei on Jackson @ Fourth St. in San Jose after BlogHer. Great food and a great way to wrap up the conference. Blog on, and I’ll be checking your site for inspiration and recipes going forward.
I love group photos! Thanks for rounding us up, putting us all in one spot and photographing us in such flattering ways. That Nicole is so cute!
Kat of Kung Foodie was also there, btw. (She’s third from the right on the ground wearing green.)
Next year the food has to be better and I have to go to both days. Overload, insanely inspiring, lots of good outfits!
Alison
Hi Elise,
Thank you so much for the introduction to veggie Japanese – I enjoyed the food and the company! Thanks as well for all the work you put into the conference. You were a key participant in many of the sessions I attended. Your contributions were always excellent and very much appreciated.
Thank you for the nice comment. I can’t wait to try some of your recipes, they all look so good! It was great meeting you at BlogHer and thank you so much for your wonderful panel session. You presented such useful information. Very helpful to newbies such as myself.
Hi Kalyn – what a wonderful weekend it was. Thank you so much for your terrific write-up and leadership with the food blogger gathering.
Hi Erin – great to meet you too! And thank you for your kind words regarding the presentation. I’m so glad you found it useful.
Hi Alanna – for BlogHer 2007 in Chicago, you’ll have no excuse not to come. We missed you!
Hi Pim – thank you for representing we foodies so well on the MS panel. Great dress, btw.
Hi Dani – a recipe video blog? Wow, that’s a lot of work. Let us all know when you launch, and be sure to tune into Food Blog School.
Hi Bea – so your secret life as a techie has been outed! Great to know the connection.
Hi Teri and Alison – That dinner was so much fun. I sure hope we didn’t bore you too much with all the foodie talking. Unfortunately it’s just hard to contain us when we get together. I’m relieved that Gombei is as good as it always has been.
Hi Shuna – I’m so glad you came, and brought t-shirts. I hope you sold tons. I’m a proud member of the Shuna-Fish cult following, and it looks like there were other members present at the conference too.
Hi Stacie – It was delightful to meet you as well and I look forward to reading more of your new blog.
Hi Juliannie – I don’t think there is a food blogger email list. Though you may head over to Food Blog S’cool to see where we all hang out.

Fab pics Elise. It was great to meet you–and I really enjoyed/learned a lot at your presentation as well.
I’ll second Kalyn’s comments–what a lovely and inspiring group of women!
