Do you love chocolate? If so, you have a friend in David Lebovitz. Former pastry chef at Alice Waters’ Chez Panisse restaurant in Berkeley, and now currently residing in Paris, David writes books and teaches classes all about chocolate and desserts, and writes regularly to his food blog, DavidLebovitz.com. His latest book, The Great Book of Chocolate is a comprehensive guidebook to the world of chocolate.
David’s writings are witty, engaging, and often hilarious. He also has great recipes, for things like Dulce de Leche Brownies. Mmmm…. Almost every food blogger who meets David wants to marry him. I too want to marry him (he can cook! and he lives in Paris!) and I haven’t even met him yet. So, please go visit his wonderful food blog and say hello for me.

Hallo! I’m totally addicted to David’s blog…he’s deliciously witty and covers a variety of topics. It’s great to see Paris through his eyes.
Oh my. I’m in love already. I followed the link to his blog and was absorbed for well over an hour. Now I have to tear myself away to work. Thank you Elise!
Elise:
I’m happy, scared, confused, excited, sad, perplexed, affirmed, ashamed, thrilled, relieved, elated, and content that you like my blog.
Thanks for the kind words, though I’m still holding you to that promised Cobb Salad!
xx david
