Over the years, many of you have written to me asking for the ability to save your favorite recipes on this site to a personal recipe box. Frankly, I wanted to be able to do that too. In fact, I wanted a place where I could easily store recipes from all of my favorite websites. That’s why I couldn’t be more tickled to announce that, because of a partnership with a company called ZipList, we can now offer you this feature here on Simply Recipes. Not only can you save your favorite recipes from Simply Recipes to your personal favorites on ZipList, you can also save favorites from dozens of other sites, including Martha Stewart, Leite’s Culinaria, Kalyn’s Kitchen, Joy of Baking, The Perfect Pantry, and Recipe Girl.

In addition to storing your favorite recipes to your recipe box, you can also easily add the ingredients from a recipe to an online shopping list, which you can access from your mobile phone. The service, both from the website and the mobile phone apps, is completely free.
