January is quickly coming to a close, and with it our focus here on low-er carb eating. An important lesson was learned by yours truly regarding this low carb experiment, and that is low carb eating only helps you lose weight if you don’t at the same time feast (read “overindulge”) on buffalo wings and butter sauces. In college I used to give up sugar for Lent and would invariably gain weight by making up for it with cheese and peanut butter. But one never learns, does one?
