Alica is a digital content creator who has been writing, developing, and photographing recipes since 2010. She is second generation Guyanese-American and focuses on preserving her culinary heritage through her blog, Alica’s Pepperpot is where she shares family recipes and stories about how cooking has influenced her identity.
She is a graduate of St. John’s University in Queens, NY where she earned a B.A. in English and M.S. in Market Research from University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business. Alica’s professional background is in sales, food marketing and advertising, and digital media.
