Evie Lieb is a former bakery owner and pastry chef in Carmichael, California, where she has taught cooking and baking classes since 1978. Inspired and instructed by her mother and aunts who were excellent cooks and bakers, Evie has written articles and taught traditional Jewish recipes, as well as presented demonstrations of Jewish cooking on television. Evie is a member of the SF Bay Area Bakers Dozen, and a contributor to The Bakers Dozen Cookbook. Evie posts recipes and cooking tips on her food blog EvieLieb.com. She enjoys travel with her husband Larry, reading (especially cookbooks), working in her vegetable garden, cooking, baking, and volunteering in the Jewish community.
