Sarah Fritsche is a San Francisco-based food writer and recipe developer. For over adecade she was a staff writer with ​The San Francisco Chronicle​’s James BeardAward-winning Food team, where she reported on the Bay Area’s food scene,interviewed culinary luminaries, including Nigella Lawson, Dorie Greenspan, andJacques Pépin, and headed up ​The Chronicle​’s test kitchen. Sarah earned her culinarydegree from the California Culinary Academy, has worked in professional kitchens, andis a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals. She’s also alifelong science fiction and fantasy nerd. When Sarah’s not in the kitchen cooking up astorm, you’ll typically find her with her nose buried in a book by Nnedi Okorafor, MaryRobinette Kowal, Kim Stanley Robinson, or one of her other favorite speculative fictionauthors.
