10 Easter Recipes for Your Family Table

Easter means it’s officially spring, and spring means fresh eggs, lamb, asparagus and artichokes, and citrus!

Whether you’re looking for something classic, or for a new dish to add to the mix, here are some of our favorite recipes for the Easter table.

Sliced Roast Leg of Lamb with pink center

Nothing quite heralds spring like serving a leg of lamb at Easter, especially one with a citrus rosemary marinade that’s seared and slow roasted.

Glazed Baked Ham

The beauty of ham is that it’s already cooked when you purchase it; you just need to warm it up and give it a little flavor. Choose from two glazes—one with honey and thyme, the other, sweet hot honey mustard.

Asparagus Artichoke Breakfast Casserole

There’s no such thing as having too many breakfast casserole recipes, and this one includes one of the first veggies of spring—asparagus—along with bacon and cheddar cheese.

Smoked Salmon Quiche

A little smoked salmon, a little dill, a little goat cheese – all baked together into one delicious quiche. This recipe is the perfect if you're headed to an Easter potluck brunch.

Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus

Wrap the asparagus in prosciutto, roast in the oven and you’ve got a salty-sweet side dish at the ready.

Best Deviled Eggs

These springtime (and picnic and potluck, let’s be honest) treats take their name from the little bit of heat from some Tabasco sauce mixed into the filling. Addictive!

Hot Cross Buns

This Easter sweet is an old English tradition, typically served on Good Friday. You can whip these up in just a few hours.

When you increase the surface area of a potato, you up the crispy factor—by a lot.

Lemon Meringue Pie

Easter dinner isn't complete without something sweet! This lemon meringue pie is a classic – tall, billowy meringue with tart lemon curd underneath.

Almond Pound Cake with Orange Glaze

There’s something about a citrus-forward pound cake that just feels like spring. Add berries, whipped cream, or just eat it as is, sliced as thinly or thickly as you want.

What a divine bunch of recipes, Elise. I typically serve a fish pie on Good Friday with mashed potato and either some tomato salad or any veg of choice. The roast lamb followed by rich chocolate dessert is for Sunday when those who observed Lent, break their fast.
