Simply Recipes 2018 Meal Plan: November Week 4

Here's your meal plan for the last week of November! We've got a cozy ham and cheese pasta bake, Singapore noodles with shrimp, roast pork tenderloin, and more!

Congratulations! You survived Thanksgiving!

If your family is anything like mine, there are still some remnants of the big meal lingering about in the fridge. So to kick things off, I’ve started with a recipe to try to use up the last of those leftovers.

Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, it’s time to get ready for the December holidays. Though as a kid I used to be most excited about the gifts, now I anticipate the gatherings of family and friends. (Oh, and the holiday parties!)

Whatever it is that you do or don’t celebrate, there’s something that’s so special about this time of year. The joy and revelry becomes almost palpable in the air.

And as we get ready to enter December, just weeks away from the start of winter, be sure to prepare yourselves for the impending season’s weather!

Ham and Cheese Pasta Bake

This is the perfect recipe to get rid of that list bit of ham from Thanksgiving (or swap in turkey). Some sautéed spinach or any leftover Brussels sprouts would be a great sides dish. Or you could even try folding them into the pasta to combine it all together.

Skillet Chicken with Fennel and Orange

If you're a fan of fennel, then this is the perfect recipe for you. It's a simple recipe that lets the flavors of the ingredients truly shine through. Serve with rice or pasta.

Pork Tenderloin with Figs and Olives

Figs are one of those ingredients that I often forget about, but as soon as I make something with them, I remember how much I love them. Pair the sweetness of the figs with the briny olives and capers and you've got yourself a great accompaniment for juicy pork tenderloin. Goes well with couscous.

Pumpkin Ricotta Gnocchi

Gnocchi with butter and sage is one of the best dishes on the planet. This version includes ricotta and pumpkin in the dough for more richness and an extra dose of fall flavors. Serve with sautéed greens.

Singapore Rice Noodles Recipe

Why order delivery when you can make a great dish at home in just about the same amount of time? It could even make use of any leftover meat or vegetables from earlier in the week if you want to go a little off script.

Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies

Bonus Recipe! It's never too early to get ready for holiday parties—so that means cookies! These are a personal favorite of mine, and perfect for all the coconut lovers out there.
