Brianne entered the professional culinary world in 2012, working in New York bakeries and restaurants focused on partnering with local farmers and producers and cooking seasonal, from scratch food.
Brianne eventually moved out of the (restaurant) kitchen and into the classroom (still kitchen) in her role as Program Director for The Dynamite Shop, a Brooklyn-based culinary school for kids ages 7 to 16. In this role, Brianne developed recipes and designed and led classes that aimed to not only teach culinary skills, but also empower students and their families to build positive relationships with food and to better understand the cultural and social impact their food choices have on their communities.
Brianne now leads public and private programming focused on food education and writes and develops recipes with a focus on seasonal cooking and sustainable eating.
