7 Smoothies to Kick Off January

Three cheers for smoothies! Is there any better way to pack extra servings of fruits and vegetables into our day? Whether you make them for breakfast or an afternoon snack, here are our seven favorite smoothie recipes to try.

By the time January rolls around, I’m ready for a reboot. I love all the festivities and treats that come with the holidays, but there’s nothing like a good smoothie to invigorate my mind and soul. And yes, you bet your beans that smoothies invigorate me!

Since I am always trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet (especially after the carb heavy holidays!) getting my whole family on board helps me. One thing I’ve discovered is that we love to make smoothies as a family! Who knew?!

My kids take turns helping with the smoothies and we like to play a little game called, “Guess the Ingredients.” Whoever made the smoothie tells the rest of us how many ingredients it was made with and we then try and guess what the ingredients are. It’s fun, engaging, and we enjoy every last smoothie sip!
