I made the curried garbansos in the slow cooker, and it worked. Wife said it was flat, so I should have bought a fresh chile pepper. We have lunches for the week. However, piling the curry onto the spinach led me to resent making the green salad my wife needs for her battle against her family’s diabetes genes. Just because most of the salad ingredients are in the dish, doesn’t mean her need for crunch is satisfiied.
Looking forward to trying the summer minestrone soup. Don’t like zucchini so I’m going to substitute it with fresh carrots. Can’t wait!
