Simply Recipes 2019 Meal Plan: December Week 3

This week is all about quick and easy weeknight dinners (because December): Shrimp and Broccoli Fettuccine, One-Pot Chicken and Rice Soup (hello leftovers!), Kale and Mushroom Cheddar Bake, pork stir fry, and a skillet dinner loaded with cheese and hamburger.

The big winter holidays are almost here, so that means it’s really crunch time for everyone who celebrates.

While you’re making your lists and checking them twice, you still have to put dinner on the table.

This week’s recipe lineup is a pretty good representation of the sorts of things I enjoy eating during this time of year. I don’t really feel like putting too much extra effort or thought into dinner because I’m so busy with everything holiday-related.

This week I’m digging into a couple of hearty pastas, a cheesy casserole, a quick stir fry that comes together in minutes, and soup so I can eat the leftovers for lunch.

I love the simplicity of this recipe. Top the pasta with a little Parmesan cheese, and don't use all the wine in the sauce! Enjoy a glass while you eat this bowl of pasta.
