Most of us are in the thick of summer vacation, so my hope for you (and myself) is to at some point this season get away on a fabulous vacation.
Right now, however (pathetically enough), my vacation consists of me soaking my feet in an inflatable pool on the back porch. I’ll look on the bright side, though: at least I’ll be able to make, and enjoy, meals fit for a five-star resort. I’m even going to throw in a decadent dessert, just for good measure.

Salmon Avocado Poke Bowl
Lisa Lin Any time I can make a meal with only one cooked component, I’m all over it like, well, like white on rice. Steaming rice is the only heat involved here. Use a sashimi-grade fish for this meal-in-a-bowl. Need it gluten-free? Use tamari instead of soy sauce. No leftovers because of the raw fish, though, so this is a one-and-done dinner.
