Cynthia is a lifelong passionate cook who has brought her well-honed skills into professional kitchens and bakeries. She has not only worked in James Beard nominated bakeries, she has also worked with James Beard finalist chefs and butchers in both restaurants and private chef environments.

Breakfast time is family time: "Although my blog is now primarily breakfast and brunch recipes, I used to rarely cook breakfast. It wasn't until Covid hit, and my husband transferred to the Emergency Department, that I really began making breakfast every day. He leaves the house before 10 in the morning, and doesn't return until well after midnight, so breakfast has become our one meal together and I want it to be filling and memorable!"
