She has won five James Beard Awards for her cookbooks and journalism and was inducted into the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America. Additionally Dorie was awarded Awarded the Mérite d’ Agricole (the Order of Agricultural Merit) by the French Consulate for her outstanding writing on French cuisine.
