Mike Lang

Mike is not your average food writer and photographer, as he is close to signing off his 25-year career as a police sergeant in southwest Ohio. Penning the long-running grilled food and beer blog, Another Pint Please, Mike's written grilling articles for Sports Illustrated and authored the cookbook One-Beer Grilling. He is best known as the "Grillographer" for Weber Grills, where his photographs and work follow Weber's global footprint.

Having made numerous morning television appearances in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio, leading grilling demonstrations, most recently Mike created and hosted a series of "At-Home" grilling specials for Weber Grills.

Throughout his law enforcement career, Mike has received numerous commendations. Most notably, he was privileged to deliver the keynote address at the FBI's National DNA Conference presenting a decade-long cold case he successfully investigated. He is in his third elected term of holding public office in his hometown.

Mike started to write for Simply Recipes in the spring of 2021 and could not be happier bringing the art of the grill to a new audience.
