Experience
As a chef, Rachael Narins has worked in Michelin starred restaurants, on film sets (in front of the camera and behind the scenes) and cooked privately for many of the top world-renowned athletes in Los Angeles. She’s been writing professionally for more than 10 years for publications including the L.A. Times and the L.A. Weekly and has contributed to Simply Recipes, Eater, Allrecipes.com, Serious Eats, The Forward, Food & Wine Magazine, and many more.
Since 2011, Chef Rachael has taught a weekly cooking class on Reinforcing Cultural Identity Through Food to 4th and 5th graders in Manhattan Beach, California. As a UCCE Master Gardener, she also works in underserved communities teaching students how to grow food.
Favorite spice in the cupboard: "My absolute favorite spice is cardamom, with dill and allspice tied for second place in my heart and on my palate."
