I’ve now made these 2x and I love them. However, I thought they were WAY too big. I ended up cutting them so that there were double the amount you suggested. Next time I think I’ll half the recipe and then they’ll be a bit thinner. So tasty!
I’m looking forward to trying this. Wondering about the dark chocolate – should that be semi-sweet? Bittersweet? Other?
Hi, Karen! I’d go for any dark chocolate that you also enjoy eating on its own. Enjoy!
Hi cindy, I am in Australia and wonder whether these yummy truffles could keep for longer in a sealed cellophane bag in the fridge, as I would like to make them a week or so prior to giving them ? What do you think ?
Hello!! I think they would be totally fine for no more than 4-5 days, sealed in an airtight container, in the refrigerator.
These look so yummy! Can I make these without the champagne or wine? I’d like to make them alcohol free. Thank You!
Yes! You definitely can make them without the alcohol. I would likely add 1/4 cup additional cream to the mixture.
These look wonderful!!!!! What a great holiday treat to make and share, thanks!
These look so simple yet delicious! They’d also make for perfect gifts around the holidays. Another good option to use in place of Champagne would be Port, too!
I am DEFINITELY making these!! Thank you for sharing. They look amazing… Cheryl
