I made this last night but with naan. Excellent!
I made this great idea using a flour tortilla. The next time, because it was so floppy, I topped it with another tortilla, flipped it, and had a quesadilla. Thanks for the idea….!! xoxo
Great way of making pizza! I love the simplicity of your topping too. Simple and light is always the best!
why do the instructions say to put them on a baking pan but they are then cooked in a skillet?
Hello Debbie! The baking sheet is just a good place to hold all the pitas while you assemble them one by one. It simply acts as a tray. Happy cooking! Sheryl Julian
I love the pita pizza idea! I live in Mexico and this works really well with flour tortillas. Where I live we can get them homemade with white or whole wheat flour. They are thinner than pita
so I use 2 tortillas, brushing a little olive oil between for glue :) Elsmarie Norby in Mexico
The tortilla idea is brilliant. Lucky you! Sheryl Julian
A good reminder that some of the best recipes are really quite simple.
Where can I find the nutritional information for the wonderful recipes I’m finding on Simply Recipes?
Hi Tammy, at the moment we do not offer nutritional info on the recipes, but you may be able to find an online resource to help you calculate the information yourself.
This is a truly great idea!
