    Did not make this, although it looks very good! I just wanted to point out, because it may be important to some, I was under the impresstion that marshmallows aren’t vegetarian because they have gelatin. I am NOT vegetarian but I do have vegetarians in my family. I think some vegetarians may be unaware of this and/or some consider this a ‘grey’ area. But all in all, they are NOT truly vegetarian, sorry.

    It is SO MUCH BETTER with the marshmallows on top~ (if U NEVER had it like this~ U owe it to yourself to try it at east ONCE!!) It’s that good!!

    Hi Sally! This sweet potato casserole with marshmallows is a staple of our Thanksgiving table for many years now. I have always prepared the purée a few days in advance but due to lots of things going on I was wondering if I could freeze the purée to finish with marshmallows and oven on the big day?? Thanks!

    There are two Step 4 instructions. If you’re making this ahead of time, I assume you’re making it through the first step 4 “Mash the potatoes” and then putting it in a casserole dish to keep it in the fridge until you are ready to cook it. Is that correct?
